Help new nursing students!

Here is a letter from Orientation/First year office asking for nursing students to help out! Lets do our best.

I am writing to you to ask for your help in promoting and communicating the Student Life Ambassador Program amongst senior Nursing students. In case you are unfamiliar with the program, it entails pairing newly-admitted students (who will be starting their studies at McGill this Fall 2012) with senior students in the same faculty. Student Life Ambassadors communicate with their assigned student(s) via e-mail in order to address their incoming student’s concerns and questions regarding McGill. It is a very successful program; incoming students find it very beneficial to have a fellow student’s perspective on McGill’s academic, social and student life.

We are actively recruiting volunteers at the moment, and would really appreciate your help in spreading the word amongst the Nursing community. Here<> is the link that students must complete in order to participate/volunteer in the program; the form allows us to ascertain who we should match them with. We would very much appreciate if you could include information regarding the program in your listserv or on your website if possible. I would also be very open to hearing what other ideas you might have as to how we might garner more Nursing student volunteers.

I am particularly in need of Nursing student volunteers as year to year we are consistently lacking volunteers from your school. Usually we have a few generous volunteers who are willing to take on many students in order to help us out, but it would be really wonderful to have a stronger base within your community.

Thank you so much for your help!
