This year’s format will be slightly different to accommodate the students who have classes or clinical rotations. Therefore, we will be holding this event between 17h00 to 19h30 in the hospital cafeteria and refreshments and snacks will be served. In addition we would like the students to pre-register if possible at ressources.humaines.st.mary.@ssss.gouv.qc.ca indicating what specialty they would like to visit to better schedule their visit or call at 514-345-3511 extension 2608.
It will be a chance for the students to exchange with the different Managers and health care professionals from all units in the hospital. 4) Speed Nursing

3650 McTavish Street, Montreal, Quebec, H3G 1Y2 Although a little farther away, parking is available at 2020 University Street only $5 flat rate after 4 p.m.
Speed Nursing is the place to share your passion for your nursing specialty with current nursing students, to inspire them with what your experience can teach them, and attract them to work in the specific nursing field that you work. Our soon-to-be nurses are looking into different areas to specialize and with so many options for them to choose from, you can help these students find their career path.
How does it work? Nurses will be paired up with a group of nursing students or one on one, and about every 6 minutes, a new group of students will be coming to speak with you. These groups of students will rotate from one nurse to the next until they have met with everyone.
To accompany this intense experience there will be great food 30 minutes before the start of the event, where you will gather all the energy you need to spend an amazing hour with different students who want to learn more about what you do. There will be breaks as well for both you and the students to grab some more food and non-alcoholic drinks.
You are all welcome to come by to be one of our nurses who will be sharing their knowledge and stories with the students. Come join us for some great food, great company and great time.
If you have any question, comments or to RSVP, please email email@example.com.
