A free event!
Enjoy this opportunity to know more about a unique organization, which helps people with aphasia overcome their speech difficulties through theater. The evening’s program will start with a p…lay, Le facteur temps, showing the therapeutic path of a man suddenly hit by a stroke, which makes him aphasic and partly paralyzed. It will be followed by an open discussion between the audience, the comedians, and the organization’s director.
Le facteur temps is a touching story of courage and perseverance; one that poses fundamental questions on imperfection and human interactions; one that the comedians themselves have lived, at least in parts.
This event is organized conjointly by student representatives of the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Nursing and the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders, and it aims to emphasize the importance of efficient teamwork between health professionals in providing a comprehensive and holistic patient-centered care.
It has been made possible thanks to the financial contribution of the 2009-2010 Med-P/Dent-P Student Association.
