1. Help Wanted From A Nursing Student

Letter from a member of the McGill Community:
Sometime after May 10, I will be having a second open heart surgery to correct my mitral valve. Having had a myomecty just over a year ago, I can anticipate the results. As my companion cannot stay at home with me and must work, I will require someone to from 9 to 5 the first 2 weeks for basic care service. Microwave a meal , make sure I don’t fall in the shower, call 911 if requiored.
During July, my companion will be away, I would then need someone to sleepover during that period. All this is dependent on the date of the surgury, which I do not know right now.
May 10 is the date of my angiogram. That is my only firm date. If the surgery is scheduled for after July, I would not need the sleepover person (I hope). All this I base on the results of my last operation and it’s aftermath. I hope the results are no worse than they were that time. Payment is possible and can be negotiated.
